Zeb Bulluck Jr., affectionately known as Zebbie, Jazz, Reds and/or Truck, was born July 25, 1944. He was the son of the late Zeb Bulluck Sr. and Mary Kate Bulluck. He was the eldest of two sons. Zeb was raised and educated in the City of Chester and graduated from Chester High School in 1963 where he majored in Vocational Technical Training with a specialty in Auto Body Repair.
Zeb made the City of Chester his home for the last 30 years but spent much of his early adult life in Miami, Florida. His working career covered several occupations including factory laborer, airport taxi service and over the road trucker. He retired from trucking several years ago due to failing health and related complications. Trucking was a real passion for him; he loved the challenge of logistics and delivering goods to the market place on time. The opportunity to travel and see the country from coast to coast made this career for him icing on the cake!
In June 1990 he joyously received the hand of Joyce Burton in marriage. Since that moment she has been his faithful companion, partner, supporter, critic and fan.
Zeb was preceded in death by his parents Zeb and Mary Bulluck. He is survived by his devoted wife Joyce Bulluck, two children: June Bulluck Hurst and Keith Bulluck (Angela), five stepchildren: Gloria Knox Quail (James), Rudolph Burton Jr. (Cynthia), Joseph Burton, Michelle Dorsey (Christopher) and Carolyn Burton, a brother: Rev. Thirman L. Bulluck (Yvonne), two nephews: Jason Bulluck (Emily) and Joshua Bulluck (Shayna), a devoted cousin: Artelia “Tee” Bulluck), 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 6 sister-in-law’s and 5 brother-in law’s and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
