Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Saunders. son, David Saunders, Jr., and brother, Frank Stanley. Sisters Barbara Muhammad, of Claymont Delaware, Linda Saunders and Pamela Brooks of Chester, Patricia Norwood Thomas (Sidney) of Delaware, Tanya Rhodes (Brandon), of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Shirley Benson and Portia of Cambridge, Maryland, and Marcella of Washington, DC, . He also leaves behind his loving and trusty dog, “Harlem” whom he absolutely “adored.”
Although he was ill a great deal of his life, he was always very personable and popular. Everyone knew him. More importantly, he was one of the most “selfless” people to know—always willing to help and protect others, always keeping family members safe from harm, and was well known for loving and protecting his mother. He will be greatly and sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
Sleep in Peace, “Crockett” as your sister “Patsy” anxiously awaits your arrival. May Peace Be Upon You!.
